This is an informative talk and there is no physical practice here so this is the main reason I gave it a 7 out of 10 for my personal ranking because I felt like I wanted to learn more about each term or even practice a few breaths.

Maybe I was expecting too much from a 5 minute explanation because he can’t really go over all the details in such a short time, so this is a good summary and a good introduction if you are new to yoga and to yoga term in general, Alik explains the terms and their importance in a very calm and interesting way.

In this short yoga lesson Shy explains how to do the one-legged seated forward bend pose, it is very important to know hoe to correctly do this pose in order to create strength and flexibility in the hips and back.

I enjoyed this 5-minute yoga stretch because not only did I actually feel the stretch (which I love) I also learned how to perform this stretch with perfect technique. This is important to me because I love to run and I do this stretch almost after every time I go for a run, so now with Shy’s tips, I feel more confident that I am doing this stretch correctly.

An Easy and Short Yoga Routine

Teacher: Dia Draper

Class Name: A Moment for You (Feeling Anxious)

Length: 5 minutes

Props: None (Maybe a yoga mat or a blanket).

My Ranking: 10 out of 10

Price: 2.99$ (or FREE if you are a member).

This is the 5-minute lesson that I loved the most out of all the ones I wrote about today mainly because this routine combines several different yoga poses and stretches that felt great. I also liked that fact that you can do this routine anywhere you like, although some of the poses required being on the floor and I’m not so sure I like the idea of touching my office floor with my bare hands. Maybe it is smarter to use a small mat or a blanket on the floor, just so you won’t have to touch the ground.

If you are a busy person and don’t have time to go to a traditional yoga class in a studio, you can practice at home with no problem. This short 5-minute yoga routine can fit in your schedule instead of TV time or computer time.

Create Time For Me Time

It is so important to take a break every once in a while (and when I say once in a while I mean every day), create some space and time for you even if it’s only for 5 minutes. Find a spot in your house where you can practice yoga and stretch and you can even invite you kids to join in with your short yoga routine.

Very informative. I used to do Piro, yes, the TV special DVD’s. I really enjoyed the feeling (afterward of course) of being more limber, even while I was not in great shape. I allowed life to get in the way of that and have been looking to get back into some sort of stretching exercises. Thank you for this, very helpful.
